Ok here we go. My entry into *sadwonderland's Dinah fashion contest thinger. This is the color version which wont be entered, but here's the description:
Bodice: Soft butterball leather/leatherette (depending if you're willing to use meat industry byproducts) for the bodice and forearms. The bodice does have boning, but leather is surprisingly easy to move around in. Keyhole neckline with blushed rose cotton bias. The shoulders are seamed at the top, with pintucks at the top of the sleeves, billowing in a small bishop style to gathers into the leather forearms in blushed rose cotton. At her neck is a heart charm which is popular during Victorian ages. At the wrists and lining the hem of the bodice is antique bobbin lace in light tea stain. Buttons are sterling silver.
Skirt: Separate flared (not full circle, not A line) from the bodice in brown and blushed rose plaid on light tea stain with lace crinoline.
Shoes: Brown leather flats with needle punching and topstitching detail with a strap and sterling silver button.
No stockings. Blush pink rose hair ribbon and heart earrings.
I like the colours,
Very good work.
